Jack Dusenbery, Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives, was appointed President & CEO of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa in 2003. The three hospital system serving Northeast Iowa includes Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo; Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls; Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, as well as Covenant Clinic, encompassing over twenty community locations. The system has over $750 million in annual revenues and provides over $20 million each year in community benefits.
Prior to returning to his home state of Iowa where he completed his undergraduate studies and Masters in Hospital and Healthcare Administration at the University of Iowa, he spent eighteen years with a multi-hospital company. Responsibilities included serving as the Vice President of Facilities in Texas and Florida, and as the President of Facilities in Oregon and South Carolina.
Mr. Dusenbery has been active on several boards and in the community, including co-chair of the Waterloo / Cedar Falls 2012 United Way campaign with his wife Holly; Cedar Valley Chamber Chair; Rotary; Spokesman Club; University of Iowa Alumni Association Board; Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation and the Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation. Mr. Dusenbery and his wife have two children.
